Welcome

Welcome to the Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union (WSSU).  The central offices of our Supervisory Union are located in the town of Windsor, a community situated on the banks of the Connecticut River in southeastern Vermont. Better known as the birthplace of Vermont, it is the location of the framing of Vermont’s first constitution and acted as the first capital and meeting place of the Vermont General Assembly until 1805.

The WSSU is comprised of four Vermont village and town school districts to provide learning environments for students from Pre Kindergarten to Grade Twelve.  Educating students from Windsor, West Windsor, Hartland and Weathersfield, school structures include one Grades K-6 elementary school, two Grades K-8 elementary/middle schools, one K-12 elementary/middle/high School and a union-wide early childhood educational program. The Windsor Jr./Sr. High school also serves students from Cornish, New Hampshire.  High school choice is available for students residing in West Windsor, Hartland, and Weathersfield which do not operate public high schools.
